Looking over the Riviera

This week, our model posed in the sunshine on the balcony of the villa, and looked across the bay to Monte Carlo. The air was heady with the scent of bougainvillea, and we gathered armfuls of sunflowers to decorate the studio.

Sheri - our little Degas session 2

We had the second installment with our fabulous ballerina model on Saturday. I'm finding it hard working with acrylic after so long with oils, but needs must at the moment. I wouldn't say this is finished, I'd probably do more, given the time. I'd love the chance to do some less tight drawings from Jenna next time. Painting a clothed model, and especially her fabulous tutu was just excellent:
