Sheri - our little Degas session

I, personally, had a fantastic life session on Saturday. It was so lovely to draw and paint our lovely model in her ballet things - a lilac tutu and leotard and point shoes. We did a few warm ups, a moving warm up and then had a still pose for the rest of the time, a pose which we'll continue at the next session. There was some great work.

Here's my work in progress. Obviously there are some things to fix but I'm fairly happy with the way it's going.

Here are the session dates for 2011. As before, the sessions will be held fortnightly on Saturday mornings between 10:00-13:30. The dates are in pairs where we have the same model for two sessions.

It's been a long time since the last life class what with all of the snow, but finally we managed to meet on Saturday. Here's my work in progress:

Sorry we have to cancel again, but at the moment it looks like it is to difficult to drive to the meeting place.

Session 18 December 8 am update

Dear All,

I spoke yesterday with the model and with tha people tha hire us the room, and both are keen on keep the session on track. This morning it looks like the weather conditions are similar to yesterday's.I am checkingtha travel conditionsand the weather in East Grinstead.

I am expecting a phone call from the jubilee centre at 9 ish to confirm the room, so Please check the blog at 9.30 am for further news update.
